Inspirations & Description

Inspirations
Many stories involve the Anemone flower that inspired these earrings, but my favourite is the one of the nymph Anemone.

The nymph and Zephyr, the god of the West Wind, fell in love. But when his wife, Chloris, goddess of flowers, found out, she became jealous and changed Anemone into a flower. Forsaken by Zephyr, the flower only bloomed when Boreas, god of the north wind, would visit her in the spring.

I choose to see Anemone in this tale, as a representation of hope in the loneliness she might feel. To capture this interpretation, I designed the Anelone Earrings.

In this chapter, I wanted to explore what takes flight. A butterfly emerging from a chrysalis. A bee suspended between flowers. The small, winged things that carry more meaning than their weight should allow.

Each piece belongs to the air. Delicate by nature, deliberate by design.

A reminder that the lightest things often bear the deepest stories.
